What is an autoresponder? An autoresponder is a automatic way to e-mail people that are interested in your Success University business. As people go through your "sales page", they are presented with an option to enter their name and e-mail address. Upon doing so, they are entered into your autoresponder where a series of e-mails are automatically sent to them while you sleep! These messages are geared towards educating them on our opportunity, residual income, etc. Many people do NOT join your business immediately, the average person needs to see something 7 times before they make a buying decision. These same people find your e-mail messages informative and decide to join YOUR Success University business days and sometimes weeks after they first visited your website. Basically, your autoresponder is working 24 hours/day...sending out emails to everyone who enters your website...and you don't have to do anything except wait for them to join your SU team. :)

To Build Your List Of People

Imagine this, you've been in Success University with our system and over the next year you build a list of 1,000 people into your autoresponder (My list was over 500 people my first 90 days into building my business.) What you know is that all 1,000 of these people have the following in common:

There are probably around 70-80% of these people that did not join you in Success University for whatever reason. There is a HUGE income opportunity as you build your list. Hot Tip!: When you e-mail your mailing lists (I wouldn't even consider this until you are a Director or above in Success University), you can get articles from www.ezinearticles.com or www.goarticles.com. Type something about internet marketing, mlm, work at home and pick any article you like. Then just post it on the e-mail you are about to send and at the end of anything you send put your promotion URLs at the end.

Put human touch in your follow up.

The more you can personalize your broadcast letters, the better results you'll get. Instead of having the mindset of "selling" something...have the mindset of "educating" or "helping" others. Teach them anything you know about internet marketing, network marketing, people skills, list building, etc. Jason learned this the hard way and ruined his first list of 350 people he built...tried to sell something new every week and eventually turned most of them away. Write to your lists with an attitude of serving others...and you'll look back one day and have thousands following you.

1) Sign up for your own autoresponder account

2) Log into your account here (You're already there if you just signed up.)

3) Click the "Add New" list towards the top left of the "Home" tab (Managing List: defaultxxxxxxx (Add New) )

4) Click the "Create List" button (the Green button)

5) Under "List Name" - Enter a code and e-mail this code to Jason. (Jason uses "successuFLastname" Where the "F" if your first initial of your first name and "Lastname" is your last name. It doesn't really matter what you use...just don't have any spaces or special characters in it and make sure you e-mail it to Jason so he can hook it into your website. This will be an automatic part of our new replicated system (once I finish it) where you can plug your list name directly into your business.)

6) Under "Short List Description" - Enter "Success University Secrets E-Mail Course"

7) At the very bottom of this screen under "Reply Address" - Enter the e-mail address that you do Success University business through. Also - Put a check mark in both boxes, "From/Reply" and "Notifications". Also put your name in the "Name" field. - Click Save

8) Go up to the section where you added the List Name and Short List Description and click Save again.

9 ) Click on the "Messages" tab at the top of the screen.

10) In the text box near the "Load Campaign" button, enter this code without the quotes " successujdrapal-3e0a6-$F " - Click the "Load Campaign" button. (When it's finished, you should see 15 messages under the "Follow Up Messages" up above.)

11) Go back to the very top bar and click on List Settings -> Global Fields

12) Down Below in "Custom Global Fields" make sure your first name is in the "Global Value" box for "Field Name" "OwnerFirstName". ("Jeremy" is there now...change it to your name w/ proper capitalization.)

13) Put your Success University user id In the Field Name "WebsiteLink". ("jdrapal1" is there now...change it to your name w/ proper capitalization.) - Click the green Save button.
